Three short words. But each one carries the weight of the entire Christian message. Here is what God actually says about you — and what it asks of you in return.
You are not anonymous. Not one face in eight billion. God knows your name, your history, your doubts, and your failures — and He knew them before you existed.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.”
(Jeremiah 1:5).
This is not vague spiritual warmth. It is a specific claim: the God who made the universe has personal knowledge of you. Not knowledge of you in general — of you. Every part, including the parts you keep hidden.
That can feel threatening. But it is actually the most liberating truth in the world: the one who knows you most completely is the one who loves you most deeply.
Every other kind of love is at least partly conditional. It responds to something — to your appearance, your usefulness, your behaviour, your effort. God’s love is different in kind, not just degree.
Romans 5:8 is precise about the timing: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. Not after improvement. Not as a reward. Before.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8).
This is the love that went to the cross before you ever asked for it. It does not wait for you to be ready. It arrived first — and it is still here.
An invitation is not a summons and it is not a demand. It is an offer — which means it can be accepted or declined. God does not force anyone in.
“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
(Matthew 11:28).
The invitation is addressed to the weary, the burdened, and the restless — not to the sorted and the sufficient. If you have been carrying things that feel too heavy, this is spoken directly to you.
The door is still open. That is the “even now” of this invitation. Not after you’ve dealt with your problems. Not when you feel more deserving. Now.
“For the wages of sin is death — but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
The broken relationship between humanity and God carried a debt that no human effort could settle. So God settled it Himself. Jesus, fully God and fully human, died on the cross in our place — bearing the full penalty for sin. Three days later He rose from the dead, defeating death and vindicating every claim He made. The debt is paid. The way back is open.
Not when life settles down. Not when you feel ready. Now, as you are.
ADMIT
You have sinned and fallen short of God. That sin separates you from Him.
BELIEVE
Jesus died in your place and rose again. He is Lord and Saviour.
COME
Turn to Him. Receive His forgiveness — freely given, freely received.
“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I believe you died for me and rose again. I receive your forgiveness. Come into my life. I am yours.”
If you prayed that and meant it — welcome to God’s family. We would love to hear from you and walk with you in what comes next.
Questions, doubts, or ready to take a step — we would love to connect with you.
